Venice to Florence Day 4

Day 4

Now on Day 4, it was time to leave Venice. Going to miss the city and esp the breakfast. It is home-made and very tasty.

Breakfast.

So boarded the train and 2 hours later we are at Florence. Now it is totally different from Venice, you walk out and realise, there are cars and buses. Well 3 days of not seeing automobiles, now back to reality. The hotel is a short walk from the station but boy are the streets narrow.

During that time the Mrs was down with some stomach flu, anyway manage to get the Firenze Card for €50/- which is of good worth after 72 hours. We managed to visit the Academia, get a glimpse of David, which is pretty amazing and out of there. Spent the day in the hotel resting. Most of the museums and places in Florence do not allow photography, which explains the lack of it here too.But the food in Florence is good, lots of meat. For dinner, I actually had Rabbit Meat with Pasta. Rabbit taste like mince pork.
